Ignore the cheesy title and listen.
I'm deciding that the secondary reason for making this comic is to raise more awareness of schizophrenia. The main character Alex is of course schizophrenic, but I want this comic to be both dark and "iconic", for lack of a better word. I don't expect to be good at doing this, but I did kind of make a comic expressing how I felt depressed and empty. It actually helped me feel a little better and doing stuff like that is apparently a good way to get things out. I might work on it this Labor Day weekend if I finish my homework early.
Okay, so the reason behind the " secondary reason" mentioned above is because of Jani Schofield, the girl born with schizophrenia. I listened to "Calalini" by Kaai Yuki earlier and when I read the story at the beginning, I remembered watching a documentary about her and her family. I realize this is a serious disease/mental problem, and I'm not known to joke about things like that. My idea for 'Room' keeps changing, but hopefully once I finish it, it'll be a concise enough representation of how serious I feel it is. I'm gonna try to do it in as 'good' a way as possible to get this across to perhaps let people know what my representation of mental disease is.
If you read all of this, good for you. You now know how awkwardly serious I've become in life as I'm growing or whatever. Hope everyone had a wonderful day. If you've got any questions, feel free to comment. I've got nothing to do right now.
